Question for setup Piwigo for a large gallery

I have a large set of photo (around over 10.000 file and grow fast) and I want to setup Piwigo as a multi-user gallery.
I decided to setup Piwigo in a server, and handle image file in another set of server (currently only 1, but may increase later) running lighttpd to serve the image.
Is the setup possible ? I can't find any option to change the image url like the demo page, if I upload image to localhost/piwigo, so the image url will be localhost/piwigo/upload/...., I want it to be img1.localhost/...., and maybe img2,img3. Is it possible ?
Thanks for any help.

Re: Question for setup Piwigo for a large gallery

I'm also interested in this.

It's not possible at the moment, but it could be implemented with some simple steps like:
1st. Create mirror server
2nd. On upload page choose what mirror server to upload to.
3rd. Have a database table for piwigo to know in which mirror is the uploaded image.

I hope the programmes have time and make this possible as is very very useful.

I'm also very interested in knowing how to improve the performance of three Piwigo.

(clarified, so far no complaints. works well for the amount of imagens I have.)

In the section "Tools" you have "Site manager"
here you can define remote galleries

I think you can use it...
