Exif And Iptc Mod Update
Hello,
I made some updates to Exif and IPTC mod.
Exif and IPTC display can be enabled or disabled by "Configuration menu".
Exif and IPTC are shown in table display with a show / hide link.
Accessing "Modify category's image information", webmaster can update creation date for each picture
with Exif DateTime metadata tag, keywords can be updated with IPTC KEYWORDS metadata tag.

I am working on adding a cart to phpwebgallery.

I think that if you agree, it will be used in the 1.4 release.
At least, the corresponding functionnality will be add in this version.

if we use this mod, how it will be compatible with 1.4 version of phpwebgallery ? I'm thinking about upgrade to 1.4 from 1.31...

It's normal it was designed for 1.3 and not 1.3.1
I will port it to 1.3.1 asap.
You should install back all 1.3.1 except mysql.inc.php

alcz, I'm trying to update my PWG with this new version of Exif mod. I'm indeed using this mod since version 1.0
One request : could you write a changelog (which files have been updated ?) for new versions ?
As every change, I have to check every files you give to know if I should rechange them after you (for some little tips I use in my own PWG). This step could be avoided with a changelog...
Besides, I've changed the 'DateTime' with 'DateTimeOriginal' or 'DateTimeDigitized' in functions_exif.inc.php line 83, because the first returns the date recorded by the software used for resizing. The second ('Digitized') is the correct value in my Digital Camera (Camedia C2040Z).
There is also another problem that I noticed with the new table to display the exif data but that was already present in the previous versions. I copy an extract of the table to show this 'problem' :
Model: C2040Z
15 June 2002 14:24:26
(1600x1200)
ISOSpeedRatings: 318
ExposureTime: 1/30 s
ApertureFNumber: f/1.8
For each meta, the scheme is 'dataname: data' but the date and resolution are missed !

Est-ce que ces fonctions correspondent aux fonctions actuelles de la 1.6.2 ou est-ce que cela peut ajouter quelque chose ?
Et si ce n'est pas dans la dernière version, est-ce que cela serait compatible ?

Do these functions correspond to the current functions of the 1.6.2 or that can add something? And if it is not in the last version, that would be compatible?

All metadata EXIF or IPTC are available to update the Db.
All metadata EXIF or IPTC can be also displayed thru picture.tpl (till -> 1.6.x, that will change from 1.7).
But no MOD is available to update Exif/Iptc from the web interface.
And the team do not want to alter your picture in any way because they are yours.
Is that a clear response to your question?
