Hi all,
When trying to view my newly created piwigo album, I get several warning messages in different frames on the screen, all seemingly related to php time functions. These appear as part of the background.
How to resolve this, or (if safe) suppress the warnings?
Attached below some prevalent examples.
Thanks for any help!

Example warning messages:
Warning: strftime(): It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'Europe/London' for 'BST/1.0/DST' instead in /var/www/html/photos/piwigo/include/smarty/libs/Smarty_Compiler.class.php on line 400
Warning: mktime(): It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'Europe/London' for 'BST/1.0/DST' instead in /var/www/html/photos/piwigo/include/functions.inc.php on line 520 Warning: date(): It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings.
