[resolved] Missing flag icons in Language Switcher after install of Piwigo 2.2.5

The flag icons normally displayed by Language Switch 2.2.1 does not show after a fresh install of Piwigo 2.2.5, any ideas of where to start searching for them? :-/

I don't reproduce this bug. Can you give an URL to your gallery?

There is a permission issue on your flag icon files. The web server is not permitted to read them.

Make sure your language/*/*.jpg are readable for all.

Thanks alot, that was it, the flags are back!

For information, how could you see that, from the browser I assume? What fault finding procedures should I adopt in the future to locate these type of permission errors?

I copy pasted the direct URL of one flag that refused to be displayed and my web browser told "forbidden... permission refused...". And I know what it means :-)

well, in the first place I don't where the permissions where changed. Maybe your FTP client. I have no idea. The permissions inside the zip are "read for everyone".

When this kind of problem occurs, investigate the same way I did : copy past the URL of the image and read what your web browser tells you.
