[resolved] run identification.php rather than index.php when user arrives a site

Hi,

The site I am creating with Piwigo is a private site, where the user must login before having access to the Gallery. Instead of being presented with the normal page when arriving at the site, I want the user to see the page created by identification.php.

Is there any easy way of doing this without having to modify index.php.

I was thinking of doing this with a htacces file and a redirect rule, or by changing my Apache config file, to run identification.php instead of index.php.

Doing it an htaccess might cause some problems once the user is logged in, the rewrite rule would be processed evertime index.php would be run. I also could change the template file for index.php, but this will also cause problems once the user is logged in.

Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Lloyd

I think the guest_access configuration parameter is more appropriate : [Forum, post 122389 by P@t in topic 17613] How do I disable guest account

All I can say is fantastic. You guys are great. Your answer to my question was exactly what I was looking for, and was so easy to do. I just set the value to false in the config file, and the user gets automatically redirect to the login page when they come to the site.

Thanks again
