Hi iPhone/iPad users,
P@t has started to code a new application for iOS (iPhone/iPad). It currently lets you upload one or several photos in your Piwigo photo gallery.
We need some beta-testers before we distribute the application on Apple application store. To become a beta-tester, we need your UDID that you can send to iosbeta@piwigo.org thanks to UDID Sender application. P@t will then send you the application and you will be able to install it with iTunes.

Hello guys.....
so far i tried following combinations of piwigo and iOS on my 3GS:
- iOS 4.3.3, piwigo 2.2.5
-> worked for me: upload into category, create album, set visibility to "admins", pictures resized
- iOS 4.3.3, piwigo 2.3.0
-> worked for me: upload into category, create album, set visibility to "admins", pictures resized
i can select same image for upload serveral times, so theres no check if a picture ist already in upload queue.
Thank you for this nice app!

hey...
Following features worked for me in version 0.5:
- select each pic only once, if i try to select it twice i'll get a message :-)
- uploading and selecting pictures, setting author and visibility works fine...
- i prefer the new positioning of some buttons...
no issues found so far.
have a good one..

I found and fix this issue yesterday: when you quite piwigo application, it is still running in background, and when you re-open it later, session have expired! In final version, I launch the logging process on resume.

First, thanks! I've run Gallery 2 and ZenPhoto in the past, neither of which really did what I wanted without being the bloated code repositories that they are. I stumbled on Piwigo via Dreamhost's One Click Installer and started research - the first step of which was iOS friendliness. This app is where I landed.
After getting everything up and running yesterday with migrating a couple thousand photos, I started in on testing the iOS app and I've found a couple of things...
-Basic functionality is there and works as described.
-When first setting up for my server, the overlay came up "Loging" - not sure if that's supposed to be "Logging In" or if it's some other typo. Obviously, this is a minor thing, but I wanted to mention it.
-I have my albums sorted by date (descending) so that the newest photo is the first displayed in that album. The application uploads the image with no meta data of any kind including camera, timestamps... so each image defaults to the end of the album instead of falling where it should in the sort order.
Looking forward to updates, hopefully both of the items above are easy fixes!
Thanks!

Yes, I know, I'm not a specialist in Objective C, and it's pretty hard (for me!) to retrieve metadata of pictures like GPS position, date, etc... maybe in the future...
