How does a registered user having uploaded a photo add a caption or tags ?
do i have to do something to enable this
I'm using the pure autumn theme and enabled user upload by using the community plug in - and then disabled the actual community page itself (forget how i did that but its not visible any more). But the upload link is still in the menu.
Probably I've gone about adding an upload link the wrong way ?

You'll also need to install the "Icy Modify Picture" plugin as well. After uploading the images this plugin allows your users to edit images and apply a title, author and description. Just a pity you can add this information at the time of uploading as you can with other on-line image galleries. That's about the only major thing wrong with Piwigo for those of us wanting to run Piwigo as a community gallery with lots of members.

Thanks for pointing me at "Icy Modify Picture" would have had problems without it. I've just replied to the developers original announcement post thanking him and making a suggestion for future development - if he's still developing it
