I just ask about thumbnails, because it means, that on each album page the thumbnails would be created first and this takes long time for 16000 images in my gallery. And i see no way to create the thumbnails automatically.
this is indeed the problem with custom sizes, thumbnails can't be pre-generated ...

The issue could be seen here [link]albums.mamtitoo.fr[/link] at the navigation menu (under the title of the albums) is partially hidden. The issue is present with Firefox, Chrome, IE.
Thanks for your help.
ok, this is because you put html in the page banner (admin > config > options). If you use only a string it will work.
I would like to use the gallery title instead of the banner for the menu bar, but I don't know how to do this. The usage and meaning of these two config items are not clear to me.

I would like to change the colors of background and text but I edit and unmodified theme.css

And on my gallery something seems to be wrong with the albums, see screenshot. Sometimes i have free spaces instead of thumbnails, Albums are NOT missing.
I got same issue.

I don't have plans to do that, but il someone wants too, feel free ;-)
There was an attempt here (the 3 last commits by tip2tail change the colors):
https://github.com/tip2tail/simple-them … its/master
You can try to contact him. With lesscss it's quite easy to change the colors

I love SimpleNG, but noticed one slight issue in Piwigo 2.5. I don't know if this affected previous versions. In slideshows, the controls don't seem to work (stop, pause, plus, minus), and there is no way to get out of the slideshow (e.g., no link to the homepage or to the folder page). This is in both IE 10 and Chrome in Windows.
ah indeed, this bug was present in the previous versions and I forgot to fix it ... I will look at this, thanks for the report.

Version 3.1 is there, compatible with piwigo 2.5
http://fr.piwigo.org/ext/extension_view.php?eid=602
Changelog:
Remove infinitescroll as it doesn't work.
Better use of GALLERY_TITLE and PAGE_BANNER: Use GALLERY_TITLE for the navbar, where the title must be short and without html tags, and let users use PAGE_BANNER for what they want.
Minor fixes: mobile url, ...
Template fixes for piwigo 2.5: comments, navbar.
Icon for categories with new images.
Update bootstrap to v2.3.1
Update jquery to 1.9.1
Add bootstrap as a submodule.
Center the footer text.
Fix slideshow buttons that were not clickable.
The most important change concerns GALLERY_TITLE / PAGE_BANNER.
The "Gallery title" is now used for the menu, and the "Page banner" can be used freely and is displayed at the top of the page (with html code).

Hi
I have a problem.
I did upgrade to the new version of Piwigo and slimpleng too.
And now I can not generate a thumbnail size in admin panel. Nothing changes :(
In previous versions of the thumbnails are proportional to the resolution and now are trimmed.
Sorry for my English :)
Best Regards
Could you give an example ?
simpleng use a custom size, so thumbnails are generated on the fly.

I change resolution of thumb in configuration menu (options -> image size)
In batch manager when i generate new thumbnail nothing had changes.
Resolution of thumbnail still is 260 x 180
:)
Saimon You can do something about it? You are the creator of the template.
:(
As I said, simpleng uses a custom size (260x180), so you can't change it unless you modify the template (template/mainpage_categories.tpl). This size is fixed because of the grid, it may break things ...

Unfortunately this is a poor solution and does not satisfy my expectations.
The previous version was not problematic as new.
Your template does not respond to changes in the administration panel so now it is a big minus.
