I am using Elegant as my default theme in 2.4.1. I love the way that it looks in wide screen, but when you reduce the X pixel count, the directory bread crumbs on the left overlap the control icons on the right and it's very hard to use the navigation/size controls. The example provided shows a medium image with the browser sized for that size image. The problem only gets worse as you use smaller images.
I don't know what the solution is, but it doesn't work well. I'd suggest placing them on 2 separate lines or clipping the each bread crumb so that they fit.

hi
what's your resolution?

For images I'm using the standard sized images for multi-sized images.
For the screen size, I see the overlap issue when I use my iPad at 1024x768 to view albums. However, this will occur simply by using long text in album names. I've reduced the length of my album names to keep this from occurring, but sometimes that just isn't practical.

I find that this is an issue with the Elegant Theme but Stripped Theme overcomes the problem by splitting into two lines.

I don't understand why.
I saw problem when I made the theme, and only after I fixed this in elegant, I made the same modification in stripped...
With 2.4 rc3, it's works.
With 2.4 final, it shows ok, and then the layout is modified and it's not ok anymore.
I will investigate, but If anybody has a clue of what goes on...

Ok, I see why... in my test, the album path was much longer... so I though the problem was solved but it was not.
I'll try to find a solution to this... this will not be easy to do it in css (I think it'll end up with a jquery solution).
In stripped the page structure is different so it's much easier to handle.

Hello!
I see, that this was an issue several years ago... and I still have the same thing: the Bread Crumbs Overlap Control Icons in Elegant theme!
How can we solve this? Have you already found a solution?

Hello!
I am still looking for a good solution... as this overlapping is still a disturbing issue on the site.
Any idea? Any solution?
Thanks,
Tamás
