you mean that your customized comment is not displayed ?
did you read the small message under the textarea ? non-latin chars are removed, I can't figure out why, and why the gallery name is not
(well actually I remove non-latin chars because there are not well encoded otherwise)

for me garbled = truncated, but an empty text cant be truncated :D

anyway I found why latins comment is not displayed
waiting for an update you can modify plugins/BatchDownloader/include/BatchDownloader.class.php
