What is "Google for Webmaster"?
Do you mean "Google Apps for your Domain"?
Offline
No
I mean Google tools for webmasters
But it's not related according to my tests
Offline
seams to be related with how the domain is linked to the host, but I know hardly nothing about that

I found the solution :

It worked! Thx!
and #facepalm for google dumbness. I hate more Picassa each week...

I just added domain.com
I fixed that combination "Google2Piwigo + family + personal => No" cf a few post ago

As I don't have this issue I can't test
are these steps correct ?

Go to https://accounts.google.com/ManageDomains.

Write your domain name without the subdomain in the field (eg: mydomain.com, not gallery.mydomain.com) and click on Add domain.

Click on Manage [mydomain.com] and agree with the ToS.

Write your domain name WITH the subdomain (even if it is www) and http:// prefix in the first field and save.

I didn't parameter a subdomain like gallery.domain.com so I can't answer on that but I can set one and see with my other Google account
Offline
I added "" (even if it is www) "" which is is the main point of the quoted article

Now that the migration from picasaweb albums to piwigo has been addressed, has anyone had time to look at the original poster question and see if it would be possible to create a button in the picasa application to allow easy publishing to Piwigo?
A bit like this? http://galleryproject.org/node/105712
Thanks!

Sorry but Picassa is not very well supported by Google, and since Google+ and the shutdown of many services... well for me that would be too much efforts for something we have no visibility at all.
