Hi,
I found this http://www.entypo.com/ and I think it might be interesting for a better icon set on core themes (Elegant, Sylvia, dark, clear).

Great icon stock!
My little contrib, from my big stock :
http://www.breezyprague.com/freebies/da … ps-ui-kit/
http://365psd.com/day/2-349/ (I have a lot from this website)
http://www.designkindle.com/2012/07/11/minimize-ui-kit/ for clear
http://365psd.com/day/3-150/
http://webuikits.com/168-free-ui-icons/ the most completed
http://365psd.com/day/2-354/ colorization needed
many icons we use are missing, but we can complete it with your entypo stock or from http://thenounproject.com
Not so unrelated : If we modernize clear and dark, do you think it would more appropriate to create v2 themes or change the existing one

On the link you gave... the icons lack anti-aliasing...
But on the psd file it seems to be OK.
In fact I gave a look a few months ago, and there were fewer icons...
I may be possible to do something with the current pack.
Something important is to have a "coherent" icon set: if we pick one icon from a set and one icon from another... they should be very much alike.
For example, entypo and this set :
http://webuikits.com/168-free-ui-icons/
can be probably used together (got to verify that the size is the same, though)
The most difficult ones are in my opinion:
- category flat & normal (it should be clear what it is about...)
- the several types of calendars
- sort order icon
- metadata icon if we want to keep the camera + the (i)

Just a start with arrows (yes, I have moved "up" before "prev" just like Zaphod did on Stripped)

I think the icons are too big (except for arrows). I have used Entypo 23px, I will try with Entypo 20px maybe (it sounds easy, but I have to create the png sprite with Gimp...)

Smaller icons (except arrows). I have also changed the "tools" by a "pencil" for the edit action.

I do like!
