The filter of Batch Manager in Admin now is weaker than the search function for the public. No keyword, author or date filter is supported in Batch Manager. While, the public search results (if more than one) can not be added to caddie by Administator all together (but only can be added to caddie one by one after you open each of the pages).
So my suggestion is: is it possible to merge the public search function into the Batch Manager to support stronger filter, or in public search page, give Administator possibility to add the search results to caddie in a group, and then manage them in the background.

Hi, I think this would be great! And I think your request would solve this problem that I talked about elsewhere:
"I'm unable to use the "associate/disassociate" feature in ways that would be best for both piwigo.com and users. Perhaps I haven't found it yet but there appears to be no way to search already uploaded photos by filename and then to mass associate them to other albums. This means I have to upload the photos again, which of course requires more storage.
Many of the sites I tried previously including the one we're moving from (multiply.com) use a "Media Locker" which makes uploaded pics available by filename. Similar would solve this issue perhaps.
