Picasa2Piwigo

I've uploaded an add-in for Picasa, Picasa2Piwigo, that allows Picasa users to upload photos from Picasa to Piwigo.  It's over here:  [extension by kenl] Picasa2Piwigo

Give it a try.

Ezhick,

Please try using a user name/password that has a status of "user" or better.

Re: Picasa2Piwigo

Ezhick,

Can you help me debug the problem?  I don't see the problem in my environment.  I will send you an email  containing details.

Re: Picasa2Piwigo

mistic100,

So, no I've never made an internationalized application, but I can look into it.  Maybe in the next version.  Is there help available for translating to other languages?

As far as publishing the source code, maybe I'll clean it up first before doing that.

Re: Picasa2Piwigo

Hello Tom,

Please let me know:

1.  What OS (windows 7, vista...) are you running on?
2.  What extensions, if any, are installed on your piwigo server (community...)?
3.  Does the piwigo account you are using have admin rights?

Thanks,
KenL

Re: Picasa2Piwigo

Hello,

I have a question for when I upload files from picasa to my site, I notice that any tags I have defined in picasa for a photo get lumped into 1 big tag on the site.

Ie,

if I have 4 tags in picasa assigned to a photo.

Tags: A, B, C, D

when I upload the picture from picasa to piwigo, the photo on my piwigo site has 1 tag called "A, B, C, D" ... they are not 4 seperate tags.

I'm running Piwigo 2.5.0 and picasa2piwigo v 1.2

Re: Picasa2Piwigo

Hello pjm,

Yes, there is an issue with version 2.5.0 that is causing the problem.  The discussion is here:  http://piwigo.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=21743

If you have the ability to modify your web site you can apply a couple fixes to the file, ws_core.inc.php.  The changes are mentioned in thread mentioned above.

Otherwise, you'll have to wait for an update the piwigo.
