Hi,

I noticed a problem with permissions inheritance on sub-albums. This occurs to Piwigo 2.4 too and it should be nice to fix it before 2.5 release (if it's not too late).

Here is the goal :
Considering virtual albums as all private with access permissions set for users groups or single users. On new sub-album creation, it does not inherit permissions from parent album. An admin have to set permissions again from parent album recursively to childs.

Adding an option (in local config ?) to enable automatic inheritance would be nice, isn't it?

The 2.5 is going to be released so no way this will be done for 2.5 . Add this for 2.6

For 2.6 only? So far away?
Well, it's not a blocking bug but I think it's interesting for big galleries management.

It is not a bug. We just never implemented this feature. As said by flop25, we won't do it for 2.5 (release date = 4th March)

2.6 is not so far away in time ;-)

You're right : It's not really a bug but an old forgotten feature.

Ok! Let's go for 2.6 ;-)
