Update to 2.5 any issues?

Hi,

my Piwigo system is running stable and I am not sure if I should update to 2.5.

"Newer touch a running system"!

Are there any known issues any thing to take into account?

What about the Plugins and Themes?

I am using only a few plugins:
AddinfoUsers
Add. Pages
Adv. Menu Mgr.
Exif view
FCK Editor
ICY Modify Pic.
Lang. Switch
Local file editor
Multiview
Grum Plugins Classes
Personal Favicon
Community
PWG Stuff
UserAdv.Mgr.

Theme:
Stripped

I want to prevent time and effort to get it running after update.

So any comments?

Thanks
Joergen

Hi

Incompatible plugins/themes are quoted before upgrade
and you can check yourself here http://piwigo.org/ext/

Re: Update to 2.5 any issues?

Ok all Plugins are 2.5 compatible.

Any other issues I do need to consider?

Re: Update to 2.5 any issues?

So update made, plug-ins adapted.
It looks like everything is working fine, except picture edit and delete is not working.

On opened pictures there is no edit button any more.
I remember this has something to do with icy modify picture.
But I think if I install this plug-in in then something went wrong with the upload, what was it?
I forgot the details.

Sorry but I don't use it.
I only know an update of this mod has been made

Re: Update to 2.5 any issues?

Ok,  I will try the update.

Just in case, how can I go back to an older version of an plug-in?

May be I ask this, I will use the search.

Re: Update to 2.5 any issues?

No does not work.

If  ICY Modify picture is installed normal user can edit their picture, but the upload Photo button is gone.
IF ICY is not installed, the upload Photo button is there, but then no edit is possible.

This was also with former versions, my workaround was to use the v1.2.2.

But my be there is a misunderstanding on my side, is it not possible in the basic version to delete a uploaded picture from the user?
OK, with admin right, yes.

Re: Update to 2.5 any issues?

Hi,

I installed it but could not see any change. What should happen?
As Admin you have an EDIT button right hand side above the picture and you can click on the EDIT button to make changes on the picture or delete it.
As normal User there is no EDIT button, so no changes no delete are possible.

Re: Update to 2.5 any issues?

Hi,

could it be any conflict with other installed plugins?
Or language problem?

on the picture page if you've added the  photo (admin or user) you should see 'delele photo'
(you can choose where on admin menu)

Re: Update to 2.5 any issues?

Your theme Stripped doesn't use the default HTML code.
