Hi,

I would like to have a piwi-cli tool, similar to http://wp-cli.org/ - as piwigo has an API already, the foundations for this are there - does such a tool exist or is anybody working on it?

Automating synchronization would be my first feature wish for such a tool, but certainly there are other very useful things that could be done with it.

Maybe the wp-cli source could serve as a quick start by replacing the relevant parts with piwigo api calls? I have not yet digged deeper into piwigo source, but if there is some interest in this feature, it will be a great source of motivation ;)

any contribution is welcome

but don't expect a Piwigo core developper create this one, we are moslty web developpers, and don't really have time to maintain such a big project (look at pLoader which is very usefull but dead)

hmm, unfortunately I see no pwg.images.sync api call - any chance of getting the sync procedure available via api?

ah, I just found piwigo_remote.pl in /tools - so just an api call to the sync is missing...
