I have this problem with this plugin.Because I have a lot of photos, beacuse you can't put no more than 50.000 links per sitemap with google,I've decided to create two sitemaps, one where I put only the links of the photos(this is ok),and another one with links to the folders(this doesn't work).I've tried to delete the sitemap via filezilla,to check the permissions(have 755 on sitemap.xml and plugins folder),but nothing works,I can't create that sitemap. Why?Thanks

I don't get nothing, nothing appers after I've tried to generate the sitemap(when I want to create the images sitemap the number of urls appears after the generation) it doesn't create any file also using different names for the xml file

I don't see another solution than giving me a link and admin status to give it a try ...

I tried to create sitemap_test.xml
There is no permission issue, but I think it is related to the number of albums/tags you select for submission from the admin page.
There is a php ini variable max_input_vars which defaults to 1000 . I think the limit is there. It works as long as the number of albums + tags + ~ 20 static inputs < 1000.
Try increasing thins number.

I've tried to change the php.ini but it give me an error...but with Aruba I can't increase that number,so I had to create 6 sitemaps for the links, and now it ì's all ok.This never happened when I had a windows server, now I'm on a linux server.
Thanks a lot rvelices. :)

Hello
I make jump from free hosting to VPS and slow configure step by step.
Problems for green user:
Sitemap plug don't save new tag. Old hosting no problem.
Coincidentally in the meantime I was looking for errors Piwik Analitycs in /var/log/nginx/error.log and I saw this:
420 FastCGI sent in stderr: "PHP message: PHP Warning: Unknown: Input variables exceeded 1000. To increase the limit change max_input_vars in php.ini. in Unknown on line 0" while reading response header from upstream, client: xxx.xxx.xx.x, server: localhost, request: request: "POST /admin.php?page=plugin§ion=0rv_sitemap%2Fsitemap.php HTTP/1.1", upstream: "fastcgi://unix:/var/run/php/php7.0-fpm.sock:", host: "mysite.com" referrer: "http://mysite.com/admin.php? page=plugin§ion=rv_sitemap%2Fsitemap.php
@Salvatore Aruba it's only "server" problem is in "our" php.ini.
Where is php.ini (my configuration Debian8-64bit php7 fpm) ?
sudo nano /etc/php/7.0/fpm/php.ini
Search
max_input_vars
Remove -> ;
and increase limit 10000 ? 20000, ....... ?.
You will see example: limit memory without ; .
(; work like #)
Save file
Next
sudo service php7.0-fpm restart
sudo service nginx restart
It's work without turn-off and turn-on VPS.
Piwigo version: 2.8.2
PHP version: 7.0.8
