problem with Plugin videoJS

Hello,

I am using piwigo 2.6.1 on a raspberry with operating system raspbian.

In order to view videos I installed videoJS plugin.

Now I want to view an originally AVI-Video.

After converting the video with ffmeg to mpeg4 it isn't playing in piwigo (directly with eg. Windows Media Player no problem). First the status line of the browser tells me that data is loading. Then nothing happens.

My question is now if there are requirements the video have to satisfy. Maybe someone can give hints hints for ffmeg parameters to set.

Thanks for help

Joe

Re: problem with Plugin videoJS

Hello

I would suggest you use handbrake, http://handbrake.fr/ in order to correctly convert the file.
Web video format is different as it depend on the OS and the browser you use.
A format we can consider standard is MP4, but there is multiple and only one is suitable for the web.

The video requirement can be found on the wiki. If anything missing, please tell me and I will update the wiki.

I have test with your video.
VLC play it correctly but it is a suitable format for the web.
Re-encode it using handbrake.
