Hi every users,

Many of you have asked me a beta version of future stable branch. Gweltas proposed me to let it available and I find the idea very interesting. By now, you can download PhpWebGallery snapshots (builds) from the development branch called BSF (Best So Far).

You'll see that there are many bugs and feature are sometimes partially coded, but it gives anybody an idea about the work progress.

We encourage every user (a bit expert if possible) to try thoses builds for bug reports and give their opinion.

Among available mailing-lists, phpwebgallery-cvs gives you informations about each commit in the source code version manager. It can be very interesting to know with a great precision what will change in next build. You can also subscribe to PhpWebGallery project on freshmeat to receive a mail on each new build.

If you find a bug, don't use bug tracker, but you can create a forum topic like "[BSF 200408090700] can't create virtual category" for example.

If you want to give your opinion about BSF snapshots a topic like "[BSF snapshots] virtual category management feature" would be a good title.

OK, good idea ! I'll add it in the initial post of this topic at each new feature added.

Today (Sunday 17th, April 2005), I change the way changes are presented. The post was becoming huge and difficult to read. Now you can read changes in ChangeLog.
