How to disable virtual albums?

Hello/Hi/Greetings,

I'm finding that even though I 100% manage my images via FTP, I'm still getting images in my virtual album directories.

Is there a way to completely disable the virtual album "feature" on Piwi?

Or

Is there a reason why, even though I'm managing via FTP, that images are getting moved/copied/changed to the virtual folder?

Once I have verified that the images that are in the virtual folders are also in my physical folders, can I delete images from the virtual folders and sync like I do for my physical folders and make the virtual images go away?

Thanks!

Re: How to disable virtual albums?

So, I think I've figured out why I had some images in my virtual directories...

I think it was from when I was installing and testing the software.

So.. I've identified my folders in piwi and have deleted all of the folders from piwi.

However... even though I've deleted all of the virtual folders in piwi, the image files remain in my server's virtual folders.

Are these folders now all safe to delete since I know that NONE of the images in those folders are needed?

Hi

use the Batch Manager to select all photos "without album", then you can properly delete them
(deleting the "upload" directory will only lead to broken links everywhere)
