Please tell me what code i would have to enter to add fro example this text for users to read before upload
Terms & Conditions of Uploading Photos to gallery....
1. general
By uploading an image you guarantee that you have read these Terms & Conditions of Uploading Photos to The galery.... and that you agree to abide by all clauses within these Terms and Conditions.
2. copyright ownership
etc
... on login or when user register account
Flop are you there?
I have both plugiins installed but dont know what to do with them.
what should i write or do with local files editor?
thanks
Please help, how can i change the translation of something to add my text and then how and where do i upload it?
I need that registered users are forced to accept or read conditions to upload images.
My gallery is already life and working... Need to be sure people only upload copyright free images
Thanks

its not the way it must be done.
and if you update piwigo, its lost.
In /themes/default/template/register.tpl go to the end off line 56, and hit enter.
And type your text that you want them to read
it looks like this

whining on a volontary support forum about a free software won't help you, I would even say it's a disservice to yourself
there are a lot of solutions here:
-you can change translations: Language tab of Localfile editor and search in language files of the plugin
-you can adapt the Adult Content plugin
-you can simply use PWG Stuff to add a block with your text
-you can do a custom theme or template-extension of the register page
etc
edit hmm simultaneous post: @sport he just need to create a custom theme or use a "template extension "

or go to your language file in the community plugin
find the line $lang['Upload your own photos'] = 'Upload your own photos';
and ad the text you want between photos and ';
i dont use this plugin, and dont now if this text is on a button?
//edit what flop says.

Thanks to you both sport and flop for the help.
I will try out the solutions later on.... i guess it will work, with one of the possibilities. many thanks!
@flop my excuses if it felt like whining to you.
BUT
Being a member of piwigo team, i believe you not doing this support voluntary. Or if you want, maybe voluntarly but you get money to be a volunteer.
Open source and free, apps, programs or software dont mean automatically that they dont make money. Some go on to make millions. In the case of Piwigo, with such success, it should be making some money, probably enough to pay your salary or at least something... :)
Hi kyamites,
On this forum, and on piwigo.org in general, you have "community support". Actually, nobody is getting paid for answering questions on Piwigo.org forums.
If you want paid support, you can contact me on http://pigolabs.com ;-)

Ok plg you won this round :)
but im still not much convinced... even when you put such good, strong arguments forward ;)
It is ok to make money from open source and ok to be able to pay people to keep it up
Thanks for sharing it and for the free support :), i let other pay. I really cant afford your salary, i wish i could... im sure you good at what you do.
Merci beaucoup
By the way, the copyrights text question is solved, case closed
http://miracletrees.org/moringagalery is where the galery lives, just in case any interest or any tips :)
