Hi,
I splitted the original help file of my main plugin (UAM) into few new files because it was to huge. The original one has been deleted from svn repository.
How does this result in the translation tool? Should the original obsolete help file been automatically deleted?
If not, I should set up an obsolete files cleaning in the next version of the plugin, right? Therefore, i've no idea on how to do that according to all translations set for the plugin.
Thanks for your advices ;-)

Files won't be deleted, only obsolete lines in existing files will be
Important: nothing will be automatically migrated, you have to manually split the files in each languages or the translators will have to start from scratch

So what about the old unused file? Upgrading to the next plugin release will not delete them.

Yes, I know and I did the manual split for all actual available translations for my plugin (a hard and long work ^^ ).

your question was about Lexiglot: it doesn't delete files
but as always obsolete files are detected by PEM when creating a release (as long as you deleted them in SVN/Git) and Piwigo read obsolete.list when upgrading

Yes, sorry. It was a mixted question for Lexiglot and PEM ;-)
About PEM : For the files used in translations, I think it's not accurate to use an obsolete.list file. I'll see what happened at next release creation.
Thanks for your usefull (as ever) help!
