image uploads

Hello

I would like the Admin's to be able to upload photos, but not the regular registered users, I just want them to be able to download.  Can you do this in Piwigo?

Piwigo version: 2.7.2
PHP version: It works
MySQL version: This works too
Piwigo URL: http://

Re: image uploads

Apparently I missed something on the "big read all about day" and then install Piwigo because I just used Opera to go to my site and I was able to download the image and wasn't even logged in.  Maybe I should create an account and see what all mischief I can get into.   lol   I must of missed something.  I bet anyone can upload too.   Sheesh and I wanted to code pages today.  bummer.   I really need to fix the security today.  Thanks mistic100 for your help, bless your heart you are all over this forum helping. Piwigo team must love you.  They don't pay you enough  /s  :/

Two things Is make sure no one but Admin can upload I will create an new account to check for this.

Second Only registered users can download pictures.  I have no clue how to set this up.

Find the extension "Custom Download Link"
install it.
next step, disable  in admin > configuration > view > in photopage, Activate icon "download this photo "

Ok so I did this but in Opera you still have access to photo downloads, and I am not logged in.  But at least the download link is now prominent below the pic. I had a few asking where the download button was located.  So how does this plugin stop downloads?  Do I need to change permissions or something on the albums?  If you go to the site you see I am using a watermark on all pictures 500px and above.  I was going to change this to 250px but I thought that may be a bit too much.  Or as some claim overkill.  But I want guest and registered users to be able to see the Free image section, but only registered users are able to download. Thanks for the prominent download feature at least that is solved. Now to solve the rest of it.

EDIT:  After going over a few photos I noticed the download button does not work if I am not logged in.  But they can still download the pic by just right clicking it.  sooooo half problem solved.  Perhaps I clicked to swift after installing your fix? That large download button is growing on me.  I think I will keep it.  Just find a way for the rest of the dilemma.

Re: image uploads

No rightclick, check extension http://piwigo.org/ext/extension_view.php?eid=731

Watermark, wil be on all images even when they rightclick and save as.
Registerd users can download the image without the watermark, if they click the new download button.

You can edit that download button.

Re: image uploads

I installed the no right click and I tested it and it works.  I just installed the new piwigo too.  I also reduced the size a bit on the download button.  Thank you for your support everyone.
