Do any businesses use Piwigo Day-In Day-Out to sell photographs ???

ok, yes, it is possible

pay someone 225K to get gallery installed for you and develop a theme
depend on number of photos, you may get your 15mpg average, or with some custom work for extra, someone may put turbo for you

joke aside, it is not an engine which sell the photo, but photo itself. having nice site design would help, but would not guarantee it. Engine should suffice

Whatever the level of love we have in Piwigo, we must keep in minde that it's "just a tool". We hope it's the right tool for your use. As Serge D says, Piwigo won't sell your content for you :-)
