Newsletter

Hello/Hi/Greetings,

didnt know where to put it:

when i was registering for the newsletter, i got an email with the link

http://piwigo.org/announcement/validate/xxxxxxxx

which does not work

The link must be

http://piwigo.org/announcement/validate.php?key=xxxxx

Same with the link in the oiwigo software this is linked to

http://piwigo.org/announcement/validate/example.org which is not working. Guess it should be like

http://piwigo.org/announcement/validate … xample.org

Re: Newsletter

Do you mean it doesnt need to be fixed cause its rarely used? If theres a better place to announve errors in piwigo or the piwigo.org website just let me know. I was unable to find it.

Problem fixed. Thank you very much for reporting. It was related to our move to a new server on friday. The new version of Apache requires a specific setting:

AddType application/x-httpd-php .php

approximately once a month. It is mainly used to anounce new versions. But I think we should also/instead use an automatic email from your Piwigo when it detects a new version on piwigo.org. This is what Wordpress or Piwik do and I find it great (maybe other web applications, but I use those two).
