Problem with PWG Stuff Plugin

Hey!

I'm a big fan of this plugin made by the official team and I cant live with out it yet, but...

I have over 2 million page views a day and my server is getting huge loads for over 2 months now. Ive put my server engineer on it and came to the conclusion that PWG Stuff  module "lastcoms" is the problem.

Here is the full analysis of my Server Engineer:
http://pastebin.com/VeXAUJxR

So I was wondering if anybody has any idea how to fix this problem. I have over 150'000 comments on the site so having the widget would be very nice.

Kindest Regards,
Davy M

Did you try opening the files in folder /plugins/PWG_Stuffs/modules/LastComs/
to see what exactly this module does?

Seems to be about last comments, and it doesn't seem to be native Piwigo comments, since that's a plugin-in. Unfortunately, I'm still new to Piwigo so let's wait until a person more familiar with it sees your post. If it's really a comment system, perhaps you could disable it entirely and switch to something like Discuss or etc.

Great to see Piwigo is handling such huge site views, by the way.

P.S. while probably unrelated, it may be nice if you can share more information about your server specs.

Re: Problem with PWG Stuff Plugin

It is indeed the plugin. I still didn't figure out a solution, It would be really handy if the person that coded this plugin could read my analysis. Maybe he knows how to fix it.
