Hi,
I have installed the VideoJS plugin and followed these steps, but nothing seems to happen when I open a video.
https://github.com/xbgmsharp/piwigo-vid … add-videos
I don't have mediainfo nor ffmpeg installed, I just want to make playback work first. If I understand correctly playback doesn't need those.
My videos are h264 mp4's.
This is what I see when I open one of them:

I see the same thing if I uninstall the plugin.
VideoJS 2.7.a
Piwigo 2.7.4
PHP 5.5.22
MySQL 5.7

Ok, I think I was wrong.
Now I installed mediainfo and I am close.
When I open a video and go to Edit > VideoJS I get this error:
Mediainfo error reading file
Is MediaInfo install?
Is MediaInfo in path?
Is the video accessible & readable
Try to run the command manually.
mediainfo --Full --Output=XML --Language=raw './galleries/video.mp4'
Running
mediainfo --Full --Output=XML --Language=raw './galleries/video.mp4'
crashes mediainfo, but running
mediainfo --Full --Output=XML --Language=raw ./galleries/video.mp4
works fine.

After editing the mediainfo script to use " " instead of ' ' that problem got fixed.
But then the videos were still in image tags, like so:
<img src="./galleries/video.mp4" alt="video.mp4" id="theMainImage" usemap="#mapOriginal" title="video - video.mp4" height="480" width="640">
For the record, I ended up using Piwigo 2.7.0 and then VideoJS worked fine. (I installed ffmpeg as well, which I would have done anyway.)

Hi all,
From my end, I can't installed the ffmpeg and MediaInfo tools so I have manualy synchronise directories.
In fact, I obtain two behaviors:
- Case 1: I have uploaded my video and the thumbnail thanks to Piwigo interface. So all files are stored within "uploads" directory. In this case, I can't see the thumbnail but I can see the video.
- Case 2: I have uploaded my video and the thumbnail thanks to a FTP client. So all files are stored within "galleries" directory. In this case, all is right. I can see the thumbnail and the video.
In the first case, I think I have a synchronization issue...
Is there anyone to explain me and help me to solve this problem?
Thanks a lot.

it's not really necessary to install ffmpeg. There exists Linux-binarys which you can upload to your webspace. After this you set the correct path to this binary like this:
/www/htdocs/12345_username/my-piwigo-directory/dk3idjfi389fk/ffmpeg (change permissions to 0755)
It works fine!
Same should be possible with MediaInfo ... IF YOU CAN FIND A ONE-FILE-BINARY (i don't now the correct name for this typ of binary). Per default find mediainfo with some Libs - this don't work. I can't find mediafino for 64bit Linux. I found only a 32bit-Version - error (because 32bit-binary under 64bit-Linux). Anyone has an idea where i can find an 64bit-Version (in ONE File; inklude libs). Or any ideas how i can compile this by my self? (Ubutuntu)
