Hello LinSan,
More information would help...
What is your browser and version? Did you try with another one?
What is your Operating System?
What is your piwigo url?

Piwigo version: 2.8.0
Piwigo URL: http://www.ypsnhk.com/gallery/index.php?/category/5
I now use iphoto to upload, but the thumbnail images are broken.
Of course, web upload still not work in any browser, chrome, safari, firefox also not work.
I have the same problem. After upgrading to Piwigo 2.8 (and switching to a new web server), when uploading new photos, under the "Web Form" tab, in the section "Select files" there's a message:
Your browser doesn't have HTML5 support.
and clicking on the "Add Photos" button does nothing.
This happens from both my Windows 7 machine and my Ubuntu 12 machine, on browsers Pale Moon, Firefox, IE and Chrome. All latest versions.
Same problem here. Upload stop working after 2.8.0 upgrade. I get a "Your Browser does not support HTML5" . The behaviors is constant regardless the choice of browser (Firefox, IE, Chrome)

Hello,
Pending someone have a better idea, can each of you , having the same issue, list their plugins. In the case we can find an incompatibility...
Nothing better!

I did the same configuration, upload is operational.
May be you could try to desactivate all the plugins.

Thanks for the suggestion. Deactivated plugins, no change. I'm really puzzled by this. I did download pLoader as a temp solution to posting pics but I really would like to get piwigo uploader back

If I may : Have you the possibility to make another NEW piwigo with the same hosting?

Thanks deheme for helping us troubleshoot.
Plugins not a problem since some of the configurations I tried with some brand new browser installs with no plugins (Chrome on Ubuntu 12).
And the piwigo I am using is in fact NEW: I migrated my piwigo from an old hoster to a new host I fully control (on linode), installing piwigo 2.8 when previously I had piwigo 2.7.
I googled and found a thread on a WordPress forum with the same issue:
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/you … 4-support/
No clean resolution but two of the posts suggest problems with the .php files of the blog theme. Look for the post by "caratage" on page 2 of the thread for his/her solution and also Filippo Tasca's on the same page later on. Quoting them a little:
Caratage wrote:
It turned out that the theme had dequeued the photocrati_ajax script.

Now it works: enqueue your own copy of jquery-ui and plupload in functions.php.
Hi all
as deheme said, disable all plugins and comment out your local config if you have one
then apply [Forum, topic 23208] READ ME: getting an error after the update?

Thanks flop25. I did what you suggested and it now works!
Specifically, when I did the upgrade, I didn't copy the new version set of files from the directories that the instructions said to keep in the old installation:
Step 5 - Cleaning Remove all files of your current Piwigo installation, with the following exceptions, do NOT delete these directories: galleries upload plugins themes template-extension local _data
Now, I did. And I am no longer seeing that error message and successfully uploaded a batch of photos.
I got the same issue: "Your browser doesn't have HTML5 support." with Piwigo 2.8.2
Note: I use a docker image: https://github.com/mathieuruellan/docker-piwigo
Issue was solved by simply 1) stopping piwigo 2) deleting ""themes" folder 3) re-starting piwigo
