Additional pages and Piwigo Administration page 'visit gallery' link

Hello/Hi/Greetings,

a while ago i made a new theme/template based on Sakura BW, works fine.

Then i made a additional page with the additional page plugin works fine too.
Set as Homepage:  Replace your gallery's homepage
Standalone Page :  Page require full HTML structure

HomePage: http://www.chriscorthouts.be

The problem is not a problem but a 'My girlfriend don't like it this way' issue:

On the Piwigo Administration page the 'visit gallery' link is linking
to www.chriscorthouts.be/photos/

Without a additional page as homepage this works great and is showing the gallery.
But after setting the additional page as homepage this link is not changing
so instead of linking to the gallery it is now linking to the additional homepage.

These links are stored in variables and changing the variables will effect all the settings?

So after a long story the question is:

how can I, as a noob, change this particulary setting.

Piwigo version: 2.8
PHP version: 5+
MySQL version:
Piwigo URL: http://

Hello
I think the admin link to the public can't be changed

Well can't be changed that easily but via a custom plug-in you could try to change the template variable

Re: Additional pages and Piwigo Administration page 'visit gallery' link

Hello flop25,..

Thanks for the hint towards the custom plug-in and to change the template variable.

Through this hint I found the function get_gallery_home_url () which makes use of a
global variable to set a path variable.

So all I had to do is to override a global variable with the LocalFiles Editor in the local config tab.

Thank you very much for your help.

Best regards

Wim
