_data to big
Hi,
I use Debian with 2 storages:
1. system (small HDD)
2 data (few TB data).
Piwigo www-root is on system HDD and I make symbolic link to piwigo ./galleries dir and (after resolved access issue) I made synchro for many many pictures and albums.
But _data folder very increase and amount of space in system HDD is small.
I'd like make "ln -s" for _data to data HDD (hope this enaught). Due to I have questions:
1. If I create symbolic link from _data folder to some dir in data HDD then will be work?
2. It is possible insert miniatures inside hidden folders in original localisations in data HDD?
It's mean if I have in data HDD for example 3 dir (linked to galleries in Piwigo www-root)
- pic_1
- pic_2
- pic_2
then miniatures will be created inside each pictures directory (eg. in hidden directory named eg. pic_1/.min/ ).
It is possible?

Do you have few TB of photos itself or is it a database size?
Scaling this much data in the database is a bit challenging, but doable. We can discuss premium support if you are open for premium services.

Thanks "developer" but no, I'd like keep this only in my home :)
I have my own backup server (many documents and about 0,5 TB photos my family).
@deheme, thank you for link, but this is not what I imagine. But l"n -s" for "_data" works fine and for me enough.
BTW - Probably I found bug in downloading galleries to the disk (I'm not sure this is native functionality or plug-in Piwigo ).
As I understood pictures is loading by AJAX. Eg, if I have gallery with 100 picture, on screen I see only ~20 miniatures (rest wait to scroll down to load)
Next I click download, chose size and I see message - will be save 100 pictures. And I waiting for processing and next download to computer ZIP file.
But in ZIP I see only 20 pictures, not 100.
