Hi everybody,

Now that we're starting to get hundreds of high quality and high resolution photos in http://piwigo.org/demo thanks to [Forum, topic 26546] Contribute to Demo we have to build a new album structure. What do you think of the one I created on http://demo.piwigo.com : do we reproduce that or does anybody has a better idea?

It's a good start. I would generalize cars to objects...

For a more detailed taxonomy you can look at my site. I'm using a simplified Getty vocabulary (check it on the web it's the most well structured I found in my opinion)

The most common way to organize photos in a Piwigo is on events. Obviously, on the demo, we can't really have such an organization. Which leads us to a taxonomy as you said. And it also means there will be some repetition with the tags.

OK, I did a first dispatch. When we get more photos, we will make a deeper album structure, like your on modusoptimus.com :-)

Now I wonder what we do with old photos... and mainly with the rates: they make the rating score crazy low. At least I would like to remove all rates of old photos. I have already made old albums private.
