Hi,
I had also written this problem in the Themes section under the topic "
"undefined | Previous" links on listing photos", even I emailed the problem to the author of the theme, Thomas Kuther but I couldn't get any answer yet. That's why I am writing about it again, and beg your pardon for this. The problem is as on the topic in the root of the Themes section. (https://piwigo.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=28758).
Could you pay your attention, if possible. Best regards.

Hi;
Is there a way to add a top level menu item to Bootstrap Darkroom. I would like to add a "Blog" item between Albums and Discover. I can add items to sub-menus, but I'd like to make it easier for people to get back to my blog.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Marc

Hi Teekay;
I appreciate the response, but I tried both ways ie: localfiles and in template-extensions/bootstrap_darkroom/menubar_links.tpl
Both methods seem to create a pull-down menu with links inside it. I'm looking for a direct link in the top bar, with no pull down.
I also checked the detailed docs at: [Github] Piwigo file include/config_default.inc.php@L133
Seems to all be the same. Is this possible?
Thanks,
Marc

It‘s one single method and all 3 steps are required.

Hello, i don't like that my email address appear in the credit at the footer of the theme (spam issues etc) to fix this i removed some code from the file footer.tpl , the problem is everytime you upgrade the theme the edit get lost and i have to do this again.
You planning to offer a remove credit/email option in your theme (some piwigo theme have this option)?

No, not planned. This is a core configuration issue and shouldn't be passed down to the theme.
You can either use the ContactForm plugin which replaces the mailto: with a link to the contact form.
Or use a personal plugin: https://github.com/tkuther/piwigo-boots … the-footer

Hi,
like all themes you can use inheritance : create a sub theme for Bootstrap Darkroom and adapt the template you want.
In themes folder create a directory (bootstrap_darkroom_inherited for example) and put the following index.php file :
<?php /* Theme Name: Bootstrap Darkroom Version: 2.0.2 Description: A mobile-ready & feature-rich theme based on Boostrap 4, with PhotoSwipe full-screen slideshow, Slick carousel, over 30 color styles and lots of configuration options Theme URI: http://piwigo.org/ext/extension_view.php?eid=831 Author: Thomas Kuther Author URI: https://https://github.com/tkuther/piwigo-bootstrap-darkroom */ require_once(PHPWG_THEMES_PATH . 'bootstrap_darkroom/include/themecontroller.php'); require_once(PHPWG_THEMES_PATH . 'bootstrap_darkroom/include/config.php'); $themeconf = array( 'name' => 'bootstrap_darkroom_inherited', 'parent' => 'bootstrap_darkroom', 'load_parent_css' => false, 'load_parent_local_head' => true, 'local_head' => 'local_head.tpl', 'url' => 'https://kuther.net/' ); // always show metadata initially pwg_set_session_var('show_metadata', true); // register video files $video_ext = array('mp4','m4v'); $conf['file_ext'] = array_merge ($conf['file_ext'], $video_ext, array_map('strtoupper', $video_ext)); $controller = new \BootstrapDarkroom\ThemeController(); $controller->init();
Create a template directory in bootstrap_darkroom_inherited. Copy the footer.tpl template from Bootstrap Darkroom in the newly template directory. Adapt it.
Tell me if it's not clear.

I understand you want to remove your email address from footer. By making a sub-theme, you can adapt footer and remove your email. If I misunderstood, tell me.
