I really want to remove the tooltip that pops and found this plug in but I have Display the title of the picture set to no and Display the author's name in the albums set to no yet the tooltips still appear. Any idea of why this is not working. Piwigo gallery is at www.designbysue.com/photos

Thank you - but that doesn't work (I assume you mean put it in the CSS) I even tried different versions of it like
.category #thumbnailhover{
display:none;
}

and no luck

According to http://stackoverflow.com/questions/4841 … ute#484144 and my experiments it's not possible to style the tooltip with CSS.

You'll have to remove the "title" attribute of the <img>.

I am posting this question regarding the extension you mentioned ddtddt - as per the title of the post. I have installed the extension Thumbnail tooltip and have the settings as in my original post and it is not working - I was hoping someone would tell me how to make the plug in work.
