Hello/Hi/Greetings,

EDIT:I originally  posted it under another title but renaming and adding a bit more info on my findings.

I added my photos via symlinking in the gallery folder. Then I do quick syncronize. It all works. I can see all the albums in the admin page, also the Piwigo app on Android lists them but I cant see couple of them in the elegant dark

    Piwigo 2.9.3
    Operating system: Linux
    PHP: 7.1.16-1+b2 (Show info) [2018-07-12 11:28:32]
    MySQL: 5.5.5-10.1.29-MariaDB-6+b1 [2018-07-12 11:28:32]
    Graphics Library: GD 2.2.5

I originally thought that this was a permission thing but it was not. Basically if I make all my albums public I can see them (therefor regular joe too). If I make all private I can see only some of them and that is perplexing to me.

Is there a way to make sure I can actually have private albums and see all of them under my own user logged it?
