New User - How to expand photos to full screen?

I looked at the demo(s) - particularly Modus and noted how the selection of the photo caused it to expand to a larger size. On my install it does but the image is not very much larger. I suspect it's showing me the original size. Question is, is there a plug-in or extension that will automatically expand the photo to full screen? Obviously I'd like it to be responsive.

Thanks in advance to all you expert users and I apologize for my ignorance ahead of time!

Thanks  for the heads up - I'll try it. Do you have the other two extensions he recommends installed?

Re: New User - How to expand photos to full screen?

Tell me, please, how in the Piwigo photo gallery how to open the photo on the real screen? Now this is not a complete screen. Not a single browser displays a photo on a full screen. Here is the screen. And the second screen is a social network, there the image occupies the real screen. I hope that there is a solution, if not, I hope that it will be in the future. )

He installed the Fotorama plugin, but everything remained the old, there is no real full screen. And in addition, I received an error when stopping the slide show:

Re: New User - How to expand photos to full screen?

Ewgeniy, maybe the plugin Automatic size can help you : it selects automatically the biggest size to be displayed.

If, you do not find it satisfactory, the solution maybe with fiddling the css.

Re: New User - How to expand photos to full screen?

If you are using the Bootstrap Darkroom template, you may choose to enable in its config Full width layout

"Use full width containers that span the entire width of the viewport"

Look here : https://album.chauvigne.info/picture?/2 … st_bouclee

If it's not satisfactory, try other templates and modify their style if needed.

Re: New User - How to expand photos to full screen?

Naturally, I turn on the full -screen mode. But photography does not occupy the entire screen size. I gave an example in my first question here. You also have this is not a complete screen.

Only Bootstrap Darkroom suits me, all other template are a kindergarten, a very non -profit look.

Re: New User - How to expand photos to full screen?

Like that, on my test site ?
https://blackland.legtux.org/picture.ph … 8/category

Go to configuration/photo size, choose to keep the sizes you want and for each size you keep, click on "Show details" to adjust the max sizes in pixels.

And even if English is not your native language (same for me), you are not forbiden to use some hello, please and thank you. I felt you were rather rude to me, as I was just trying to help.

Re: New User - How to expand photos to full screen?

If I have offended you in any way, I offer my deepest apologies. For me, as an engineer, this is a normal technical correspondence to solve a problem. In my normal work, such correspondence takes place without unnecessary sentimentality, so this is apparently just a habit. In this case, this habit turned out to be not very useful, sorry again.

This is what I needed! This helped, thank you very much! It was not easy to see the light gray inscription "Show details" on a gray background. ) I set the XXL size to 2160x1440, and apparently, the Automatic size plugin now shows exactly this. And finally, my image takes up the entire screen! How long have I wanted this, and finally it happened! Thank you, Katryne!

Re: New User - How to expand photos to full screen?

I was too quick to rejoice. ) Still, it's a bit short of a full screen. It looks like the inscription is in the way, and if it's in two lines, then the distance from the edge of the monitor to the edge of the photo is even greater. How can I get rid of this? Is there no way to put the inscription on the photo, and not under it?

Re: New User - How to expand photos to full screen?

If the description is in the way, you should modify its style to lower it. I do this by putting the css code in the css tab of the plugin Local File Editor.

See here  : in the description field, below the mage, there a line of text and another image. I added some more space below the image, before the line of text.
