Hello/Hi/Greetings,
My hosting company supplies a free malware scan run by Sitelock.
Up till recently all has been fine, however now sitelock is reporting malware.
Looking at the piwigo settings I cannot see any problems, but then I guess I wouldn't.
The only user accounts at present are my own.
Any else had similar issues?
Piwigo version: 2.9.4
PHP version: 7.0.15
MySQL version: 5.6.37-82.2-log
Piwigo URL: http://www.digitography.co.uk

More information would be helpful. What type of malware, what files affected, why?

Unfortunately Sitelock do not give you that information, just
Hey you got malware.
They want you to sign up at $30 a month so they can "Protect you". Sounds like a scam, but it is genuine.
At the time it happened I was uploading a lot of data, and it's possilble that may have triggered something.
I get another scan in a few days I'll see what that reports.
Worst case I delete the install and start again.

sounds more like a scam indeed
just update Piwigo often

Just a heads.
A good outcome from this.
The Sitelock scan was picking up on a couple a spambots that had managed to register.
Once I turned off user registration Sitelock no longer picked up the spambots, and therefore reported no errors.
I will open up user registration once I have some kind of registration Captcha type check.
Thanks as usual for the replies, and help.
