[Cooliris/Piclens] where? how? what?

I turned it on, left sett8ings alone, but I see zero difference? Fouind https://piwigo.org/ext/extension_view.php?eid=234 , but it does not explain what to do where, why and to what purpose?

Forget about this old plugin. We're going to shut it down. It's outdated (using old technologies).

Well... Cooliris/Piclens is the only add-on that generates direct URL links to photos. I need this functionality desperately.
Is there another way to generate URL links to the photos?
Any help from anybody?
