Hello/Hi/Greetings,
I've got a view videos that I've uploaded using jplayer. I'm wondering how to present the video's to the user as something other than a question mark. I've tried the pwg_representative approach, but that doesn't seem to be working. Any other ideas?

Hi, I got it working using VideoJS plugin instead of jplayer plugin.

Ok, I'll give that a shot.

Nope, I still get the question mark. Any ideas on how to present a quick screenshot like you would get on bing for a video that should be operational?

Do you have ffmpeg installed and is Piwigo able to see it?
To check this, go to 'Plugins' > 'VideoJS' > second page 'Synchronize'
There at program dependencies you should have 4 green check marks.

Yea, I have all four green check marks. I have the path identified and the programs in place. I'm still getting question marks instead of something presentable. Is there something lost in the website ? Or perhaps something is lost in the mp4 files themselves.

Even when you tell the plugin to synchronize and create posters of your mp4 files?

Yes, I can synchronize all day long. It doesn't seem to matter if I specify posters or not. Dunno what to do about it. As it is it is not presentable.

Just to confirm some obvious points:
- are you turning off the "only perform a simulation" checkbox when synchronizing?
- you have the "create poster" checkbox on?
What are the results after the sync? What text do you see? It should print a summary of the work completed.

Yea. I don't ever use that selection. I do get errors on pwg-wrong filename from time to time also. Just a little malfunction with the indexes. Is what I am thinking.
