Hello/Hi/Greetings,

Can someone please point me to instructions to use batch downloader? I can't see how to use it and I need to download an album.

you should see a download button in the toolbar when you're viewing an album. When you click it, it gives a menu of image sizes to choose.

Now I see that your toolbar is missing some buttons.

Try a different theme, or your toolbar is modified in options somewhere, or you have the Batch Downloader plugin disabled.

Where should the icon be and what should it look like?

in your gallery, it should be next to the slideshow button.

Yeah - I don't even see the slideshow button. I am at a loss as to how to solve this. I don't like the idea of changing my theme because I like the look of the gallery and don't want to loose what I have. The downloader is activated and I don't have a clue how to find any changes to the tool menu. Anyone able to further help me on this?

Try going to Administration -> Configuration -> Options -> Display. See if under "Photo Page" "Activate icon "Download this file"" box is checked.
