Is the Forecast Plugin Still Functional?

Hi

Forecast stopped working on my gallery. My photos are geotagged, and will display the image location with other plugins like Open Street Maps, I have Forecast configured to display the weather data as text before "Visits" on the photo page, and I do have Visits displayed on my photo page. My DarkSky api is valid.

Forecast did work for me before. Any ideas on what I should check?

Re: Is the Forecast Plugin Still Functional?

Hey I've the same problem and I use this 2 plugin tool since a while, I got the break since I updated from php5 to 7, and with php8 will blow that up,
the project is archived in gitHub, that is a shame because there was such nice one plugin to me,

do you find any alternative?

Re: Is the Forecast Plugin Still Functional?

The Dark Sky API service doesn't accept new subscriptions anymore and will be discontinued end of 2022, see https://blog.darksky.net/ so the Forecast plugin will cease to work by then anyway, hence it's archived I'd presume. See also [Forum, post 182422 by erAck in topic 31724] Upgrade 11.5 to 12.x = NoGo due plugins to possibly make it work now (untried).
