Thousands of users have updated their Piwigo 2.10 to the new 11. Of course, and as usual I would say, first users have found some problems and we wanted to fix them very quickly. So here is version 11.1.0, only 3 days after version 11.0.0!

Merci beaucoup pour vos efforts!
Seems to work as intended, included plugins. No errors, just some hassle to reactivate plugins and adjust.

Hey man, I love Piwigo, I love the design and ethic behind it, and look forward to fiddling with the new features, however, I really would like to urge you to consider a more robust support of some kind of forum software, commenting/subscribing or perhaps a simple forum plugin for Piwigo in the style of Piwigo (using the same registration and UI features ideally).
Why?
Many of us artists and photographers build up a pretty big following of people that sometimes love discussing our work in the comment section, or on a forum page. It really bolsters the activity on a website dramatically. I'd almost say it's now a normal part and parcel of an artist's existence. I'm slowly migrating my work from Deviant Art to Piwigo software but the only thing that stops me is that I my fans cannot chat and gossip freely on my website yet. Piwigo really needs a community center thoroughly integrated into it, with people able to comment on each other and subscribe to a comment etc.
I know there are some plugins that used to support fluxBB but they are horrifically complicated to set up, they're outdated, and whenever piwigo updates, it's always a gamble to see if it works. There are comment plugins too, but they're also tricky when it comes to updates. The current 'community' plugin is more about other people posting their pictures, not so much about discussing your work.
I would seriously consider this, as it would make piwigo even more meaningful and powerful!
Thanks for your work so far!

Reference: Piwigo 11.1.0 Update.
On the update page, there is a button labeled Dump Database, with a checkbox to "Include history data (Warning...)"
QUESTION: What happens if the Dump Database button is clicked in the process of the update, and with or without marking the checkbox?
Thank you. And thanks for Piwigo! Very commendable.

Is there any documentation on the new related albums feature? All I can find is the screenshot in the release announcement but can't actually find any settings for it on my upgraded site. How is it supposed to work?
It works a lot like related tags. Based on currently displayed photos, Piwigo finds all albums where you can find these photos. If you're already in an album A1 and click on a related album A2, Piwigo will display the photos belonging to both A1+A2.

Ah, ok, so no setup/config needed. I use primarily physical albums and this sounds like it's primarily a feature for virtual albums. I'll play around in my test site. Thanks!

A1+A2 ?
After testing, I understand you actually mean pictures belonging to A1 and A2, or in maths symbolism A1 × A2, or A1 . A2 as well.
