Changing the port that Piwigo runs on

Hello,

I have a fresh install of Piwigo on Ubuntu 20.04 following this guide

https://www.atlantic.net/vps-hosting/ho … ntu-20-04/

I was wondering if there is a way to specify a custom port to run on so that I can access Piwigo from outside my LAN. I tried messing around with the piwigo.conf file, but haven't had any luck so far. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Re: Changing the port that Piwigo runs on

Not really anything to do with Piwigo, but rather on how you setup your server to run.

You may have to do a portforward and a dns lookup/forward service with some software, if you have dynamic IP addressing from your ISP, to expose your internal network , check how on www.portforward.com

As mentioned, nothing of which is really related to the piwigo   setup, but to how you onfigure your server and network.
