Re: Piwigo 11.5.0

I had an error about permissions during the extract on my test site, but it looks like it upgraded anyway. Haven't had a chance to look for the log file to see what the error was all about.

Excellent, but why do you have to push all those languages that are not needed or wanted? It is a PITA to remove them one by one every time there is a minor update. Same thing with usless plugins and themes, like the "tour" thing. If it is deleted, don't update it!

Languages are all included in Piwigo standard build. That's because you may want to have your own language during install...

Concerning upgrade archive from 11.x to 11.5.0, we have to include them all because we don't know which language is used in your Piwigo.

Why removing them? Just don't activate them and you're good :-)

Piwigo doesn't know it has been "deleted" in the past. Just don't activate them and you're good.

Re: Piwigo 11.5.0

Updated Piwigo from 10.x to 11.5. For me, the update went without issue. To avoid issue, plugins not compatible with 11.x were uninstalled, which were the following:

- Comments Access Manager
- Dynamic Recent Period
- NBM Subscriber
- Protect Search and Tags
- Register FluxBB
- Simple Copyright
- UserAdvManager

The update process deactivated about 20 installed plugins and the bootstrap theme, which I re-activated via the admin panel.

Overall, the update went very smoothly, which is impressive.

Much gratitude to Piwigo maintainers/developers.
