Hello everyone,
I was wondering if there is an option to filter photos by author? I could not find anything about this, but it would be very useful.

Yes there is, within the search module. Look here : https://photos.revestou.fr/search.php

In the second box, there is a search by auteur (=author in French). An if you click within, there is a scroll down list of authors to choose from. Katryne there proposed 408 photos. And they will be displayed once you click on the "Valider" button at bottom of page.

I wonder whether the search menu link is part of the advanced menu manager plugin. I just cannot remember, since I always use it on my sites.

You can also do so in the Batch Manager with a Filter Search author:Name. Click Search tips under the edit field for more possibilities.

No, it's not. I don't use that plugin but the search is there. (and I don't remember whether it's provided by yet another extension, but I don't think so).

You can use the "search" page for that. There is a "search by author" section.
