Hello,
I have just installed Piwigo on a system running Ubuntu 20.04 as well as iRedmail and Nextcloud. It appears to have installed correctly. I can navigate to the page, log in using the app and web browser. However the images appear as white boxes with broken image files. They sometimes appear briefly when I have just uploaded them but quickly go to white boxes and then never appear again.
Because the server is physically at my home I can go to the folder using Nautilus and I can confirm the photos are uploading and resizing correctly. They are on the server, just not displaying.
When I go to the NGINX error log I see lots of errors like this:
2022/01/23 16:32:18 [error] 2659229#2659229: *97231 access forbidden by rule, client: 27.32.244.202, server: photos.puddleduckparcels.com.au,

Does anyone know what causes this and how to fix it? Thanks in advance!

Not much to add than try to search for it and figure out your nginx configuration why it excludes (probably) your Piwigo's _data/i/ directory location.
