First, thank you for a very nice theme, MODUS looks and works great so far.

I have searched the forum but unfortunately it didn't help.

Does anyone know how to disable the "Login" link at the right position in the menu?

I have "hidden" in in the Menu Manager but it didn't work, I don't know why exactly.

Is it possible from the admin or should I remove/edit the code itself?

The reason I would like to disable it is because my website will only feature free photos for download (which I have taken myself), no user registration or anything like that.
