Hello/Hi/Greetings,
I am helping a family recover their son's photo album. He died in a plane crash last year.
He had a very old version of piwigo using php5.0 on an AWS server (but I am unable to find the version number. Last copyright on it was 2016).
We have moved the photos to a new local host and installed the latest version of piwigo (13.5.0).
And I was able to import/sync the albums and photos into Piwigo. (Nice program!)
www.Spearfish.biz/photo (this is a parked domain name until we can transfer the main name)
We want to import the old comments and users and visit counts. I assume that is all in the old site's database... which I have. I don't know what I need to do to import this info, can anyone help me?
I did import the old DB to my account and edited the /local/config/database.inc.php to use the old DB, but I get:
Warning: mysqli::__construct(): (HY000/1045): Access denied for user 'piwigo'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in /home/friendshuh/public_html/photo/include/dblayer/functions_mysqli.inc.php on line 52

non recoverable error "can't connect'.
