Hi Folks,
The piwigo_db_version in the pwg_config table of my Piwigo database says 2.7 and I'm going to try the manual upgrade to get it all running again.  All this will live on a remote Linux server at Dreamhost.com
I have backed everything up and have deleted all files *except* the 7 directories that the manual instructions direct me to retain.
When I upload the new version, won't those directories and their files be completely overwritten by the new directories of the same names?  So why did I save the old directories?
I'm feeling like I'm being directed to clobber some necessary files.
Can someone shed some light?
