I'm evaluating options for a UK volunteering organisation to move its photos from Flickr to something else. Piwigo looks like a very strong candidate.

Currently the organisation has about 46,000 photos and I'm assuming a growth of 5000 photos per year. I've seen some references on piwigo.org to some large organisations which use Piwigo but of course that doesn't necessarily mean they are using it to store large collections of photos.

Just trying to get an idea of how that many photos compares with the number of photos being stored by existing Piwigo users.

Has anybody got more than 46,000 photos in their Piwigo gallery? And if so, any kind of performance issues when a) administering or b) browsing and searching as a non-admin user?
